The
U.S. Patent and Trademark Office recently revised its Green Technology Pilot
Program by opening the program to more categories of green technology. Created
in December 2009, the program was designed to encourage more inventors to
submit applications relating to green technology, and those applications would
receive special status and an expedited review. The previous admission process
was limited by a narrow classification of green technology. According to the
patent office, this classification requirement is now considered unnecessary.

Hello,
We are Bill & Patricia Wood. Bill invented Pet Waste-A-Way TM, which liquefies dog waste where the dog leaves it in 8 to 10 seconds. There are two different prototypes and an attachment for existing string trimmers. There are 74.8 million dogs in America, and all of them poop…. ..at least once a day. In 1998 Americans spent 17 billion dollars on their pets, then in 2006 they spent 36.3 billion dollars and in 2007 they spent 38.5 billion dollars on their pets (according to www.About.com). Even in this economy Americans are spending a lot of money on their pets.
Pet Waste-A-Way TM is built 85 percent from string trimmer‘s. The worse thing about owning a dog is getting rid of the waste they leave behind. Pet Waste-A-Way TM is environmentally friendly, no chemicals needed to liquefy the waste.
Pet Waste-A-Way TM has gotten great feedback from being in the Denver Post (for local inventors), on The Tom Martino T.V. Show (for local inventors), and twice on The Ed Schultz radio show for his Recession Busting Fridays and Steve Spangler ( www.SteveSpanglerScience.com) the science guy said Pet Waste-A-Way is Amazing! We have heard back from not only dog owners that can’t wait to buy one but landscapers, apartment mangers that in some cases are sorry they ever let dogs move in and would rethink letting new people with dogs move in if Pet Waste-A-Way were on the market.
We know there is a huge market out there. No one wants to touch or move their dog’s waste and Pet Waste-A-Way is GREEN!! We did a market analysis with Doug Hall’s Planet Eureka (www.planeteureka.org/marketplace/ ). The average score is 29 but we scored 63. They believed Pet Waste-A-Way could be on the market in six months to a year and that 60 percent of dog owners would buy one in the USA and Pet Waste-A-Way would sell even more in the United Kingdom.
As you can tell my husband and I are very excited in Bill’s innovation, and we really want to see Pet Waste-A-Way TM on the market. We have had two patent attorneys, one environmental attorney, we have patent and trademark pending, we have done soil samples from many locations throughout our area. We have spent over sixty thousand dollars thus far. I hate to say it but even with all this positive information we don’t have the money to get Pet Waste-A-Way TM to market.
Pet Waste-A-Way is as close to being ready to go to market as we can do. Both of our prototypes and the attachment work very well. We have a web site where you can see for yourself, Pet Waste-A-Way liquefies dog waste where the dog leaves it in 8 to 10 seconds with no chemicals.
We are trying to get Pet Waste-A-Way TM licensed. We are sure you too will see the value in Pet Waste-A-Way TM. We look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you for your time. Pet Waste-A-Way TM is number 1 when your dog goes number 2.
Hope you have a poop-free day,
Take Care,
Bill & Patricia Wood
